GCSE Results 2017

Thursday 24th August 2017

We are very proud of the achievements of our students at Trinity School who have achieved very positive results in the GCSE examinations this year despite a much publicised new system of harder qualifications.  We were delighted that 14% of all grades were A*/A/9/8.  59% of our students achieved a grade 4-9 in maths and 62% of our students achieved a grade 4-9 in English.  As always our progress is again strong which means Trinity students make impressive progress no matter what their starting points.

Some notable successes include 100% A*-C grades in Child Care, Textiles and Work Skills; Catering 75%; Dance 74%; Drama 82%; German 79%; Music 82%; PE 83%; Photography 86%.

Congratulations go to all our students for their achievements. Particular mention should go to:

Thanks go to staff and parents who have supported the students over the course of their time in our school.   Students will now progress onto A levels, BTEC courses and apprenticeships. We wish them every success in the next steps of their education and are looking forward to continuing our work with those who are moving into our Sixth Form.
