On Thursday 22nd February Trinity students competed in the Regional Finals of the Rotary Club’s annual Youth Speaks competition.
As always, the standard of the competition was incredibly high and the quality of the speeches and speakers was outstanding. Eddie Haines, Justine Barker and Carolina Carvalho delivered thought-provoking and passionate speeches on the morality of tax evasion amongst our country's wealthiest. In their final public speaking competition for Trinity they did themselves and the school proud by delivering speeches which highlighted their passion, intelligence and fantastic speaking skills.
Sadly, we did not win this round but, as always, we are looking forward to competing again in this competition in November.
