Winter Concert

Trinity School was the venue for the Newbury Academy Trust Winter Concert on 12th December. The audience enjoyed music from the choirs of all three schools within the Trust, Trinity, Speenhamland and Fir Tree, as well as a joint performance from the Newbury Academy Trust choir.
The theme of the evening was centred around the star in the Christmas story and the audience listened to a selection of readings from children and staff across the three schools, as well singing and musical performances.
The Newbury Academy Trust is delighted to be supporting Loose Ends, a Newbury based charity, and the retiring collection from the concert raised over £300. This will be added to with the forthcoming Christmas jumper day later this week.
“I am very proud that all three schools in the Trust could perform together to our community, and share the story of the Christmas star. It is great that we have so many talented children and young people across our three schools and that they work so well together and really do embody our ethos of ‘Inspiring Futures, Realising Ambitions”.
