Trinity School

MasterChef at Trinity

Trinity was delighted to host its annual MasterChef competition for our local primary schools earlier this month.

The theme this year was fibre and the competition was increased as not only did the pupils have to cook a three-course meal; they also had to produce educational materials that they had to deliver back in their home schools.

We had a fantastic two days welcoming all our feeder primary schools and seeing them showcase their impressive food skills.  Winners on day 1 were Whitelands Park Primary, and on day 2 the winners were Welford & Wycombe.

Many thanks go to our judges, Richie Sanderson, Director and Chef Patron of The Bladebone Inn in Chapel Row, Jan Murray and Pam Hillier-Brooks from the Newbury Showground Education department, and Nathan Gregory, Thatcham Councillor.

The winners of each day get the chance to take part in next year’s Berkshire County Show in the Food Tent, demonstrating their skills; a truly fantastic prize.
