Performances were given by our primary school choirs DynamiX (Fir Tree) and AcoustiX (Speenhamland) the Trinity School choir, HarmoniX, the staff choir, PolyphoniX and the Newbury Academy Trust Choir. The theme of the evening was Children at Christmas and the audience were very ably guided through the evening by Head Boy, Luke Hammond, and Head Girl, Ellie Randall, who were excellent comperes.

The audience, including the Mayor of Thatcham, Councillor Jan Cover, was encouraged to complete its own Santa wish lists during the interval, which truly got everyone into the Christmas spirit.

Charlotte Wilson, Executive Headteacher, said “I am so proud to lead all three schools with such talented individuals among the students and staff across the Trust. It is lovely to see so many parents, families and friends at this event, to share music, readings and Christmas wishes at this festive time.”
