GCSE Results Press Release

GCSE RESULTS AT TRINITY SCHOOL
Thursday 21st August 2019
Trinity students are enjoying a summer of success in their exam results this year. We are delighted that our GCSE Results as with our A Levels show an improvement on the 2018 results. Our Year 11 students have worked hard with the support of our staff and been rewarded delivering 57% of English and Maths at grade 4 and above. The progress results are strong and show we add significant value to our students’ starting points.
Some notable subject performances for % of 9-4 grades are: German 100%, Biology, Chemistry and Physics 96%, Art 75%, Dance 78%, English 67%, Photography 95%, Childcare 76%, Product design 70%, Maths 65%. Subjects achieving the highest grades at 7-9 were: Biology 43%, Chemistry and Physics 41%, Dance 39%, Geography 31%.
We are thrilled that two thirds of our students are returning to Trinity in September to continue their educational journey at a Sixth Form which consistently delivers results in the top 25% of schools nationally. We are confident they will be the leaders of the future and with the excellent qualifications, skills and qualities they have already gained they are in the best place to do this.
The following students are our Top 10 highest performers:
