Trinity Students return to the Stage - Press Release

Trinity Students return to the Stage

It was great to return to our Performance Calendar at Trinity with the first event of the Autumn Term – Trinity Sessions.  This evening is always popular as it allows our newest performers to take to the stage and have a go in an informal setting, alongside more seasoned students who lead the way and showcase their talents.  The evening did not disappoint and, although it was the first live event at Trinity in over 18 months, it was like the students had never stepped off stage.

The show was opened by Isabel Adams and Lilly Bertoni who performed ‘Halleujah’ on guitar, and Holly Fowler was joined by her brother Max with ‘Part of that World’ from The Little Mermaid.  The evening also saw some new performers – Aiden Cowell and Issy Johnson with voice and piano performances respectively.  The evening closed with two pieces from Max Fowler and Luke Diprose, two very experienced sixth formers.

Executive Headteacher, Dr Charlotte Wilson, said ‘It was such a lovely evening, seeing our students return to the stage and perform so brilliantly.  We have missed our live events and are looking forward to hosting many more in the forthcoming weeks and months’.

Trinity is also delighted this week to have received the National Music Mark from Berkshire Maestros in recognition of our commitment to develop music in all areas of the school.
