Summer Music Concert

Trinity hosted their annual Summer Music Concert on the 29th June 2022 and it was fantastic to see our students return to live performance. The audience were treated to a wide range of musical genres from our youngest performers to 6th Form students who were giving their very last performance before going on to study at University.
This year we have been delighted to work with David Beynon from Hogan Music Centre on the Trinity Band-Jam project with students being able to perform ‘Use Somebody’ and ‘Twentieth Century Boy’ after just six practical sessions.
There were three nominations for Singer of the Year, Lilly Clark in Year 9, Luke Diprose and Max Fowler both in Year 13. Luke Diprose who is the 2022 Berkshire Young Singer of the Year took the prize after performing ‘Anything Worth Holding Onto’.
Nominees for Musician of the Year were Max Fowler in Year 13, Evie Billyeald in Year 11, Felicty Johnson-Booth in Year 10 and Juan Rasillo in Year 9 Max Fowler won this award; Max plays piano and cello to Grade 7 and he intends to continue his studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in September.
Trinity Executive Headteacher, Charlotte Wilson said “This was a wonderful evening of performance. I am so proud of all our performers, it was great to see the growing talent we have at Trinity and I am looking forward to watching our youngest performers develop over the next few years and wish those leaving us the very best of luck in their next endeavours”.
