Trinity Installs its Second Defibrillator

Trinity Head Students were delighted to reveal the installation of its second defibrillator which has been part funded by fundraising from the Student Body.  The students raised over £500 through a non-uniform day in July and this was match funded by our partners LifeStyle Fitness.  The school were also very lucky to receive a grant from London Hearts for over £1,000.

This defibrillator has been installed in the Sports Hall for it to benefit not just the school community but the wider community in school time and out of school time.  Trinity hosts over 30 groups that use the site’s facilities and over 100 leisure visitors every week.  This is an important piece of equipment to be installed ensuring that our whole community benefits in the event of an emergency.

Dr Wilson, Executive Headteacher said “I am very proud of our students for raising the money for such an important piece of equipment, we are also very lucky to have received match funding from our partners LifeStyle Fitness and London Hearts.  We hope that we don’t have to use the defibrillator but it is a potential lifesaver for all our community.”
