This podcast explores how Year 12 students can revise more effectively as they prepare for A levels. It discusses common barriers, including motivation, anxiety, time pressure and not knowing where to start. Our speaker, Mrs Moss explains that good revision is not just rereading notes, but actively testing yourself, breaking topics into smaller parts and using techniques such as flashcards, mind maps, practice questions, podcasts and revision timetables. She also highlights the importance of setting realistic goals, finding methods that suit how you learn and looking after your wellbeing. Overall, she encourages students to revise with purpose, confidence and consistency over time.
